On the morning of March 19, an opening ceremony for the Sinochem-Corning Continuous Flow Reactor Application Joint Laboratory took place at the Sinochem International Science and Technology Innovation Center in Zhangjiang. Dr. Jiang Yi, Innovation Officer and Director of Corning Greater China, and his team, together with Mr. Chen Baoshu, CTO of Sinochem International, and Zhu Jianjun, Executive Director and General Manager of Sinochem International Science and Technology Innovation Center, attended the ceremony.
At the ceremony, Chen Baoshu, CTO of Sinochem International, addressed the attendees by saying, “Sinochem International aspires to become a flagship of innovation in the fine chemical industry, and 'technological innovation' is our core driving force. Our strategic partnership with Corning will help us apply safe, efficient and clean high-throughput continuous flow reactors to the continuous production of fine chemicals and new materials, which is expected to accelerate the technical development and upgrade of our new products and processes."
The Sinochem-Corning Continuous Flow Reactor Application Joint Laboratory, a co-project by Sinochem International Science and Technology Innovation Center and Corning, is equipped with Corning's multi-functional continuous chemical process development platforms G1 and LRS, and will be utilized by Sinochem International for the technology development and upgrade of new products and new processes in the field of fine chemicals and new materials.
