December 20, 2019 marks the final day of production for Yangnong's Baotawan Plant. The 61-year-old canal-side chemical plant chooses to exit the city of Yangzhou, a milestone for Sinochem in implementing its sustainable development strategy.
Yangnong Chemical Group, controlled by Sinochem International, has already built up a new plant at the Sinochem Circular Economy Industrial Park in Lianyungang, a coastal city in Jiangsu province. The first-phase of the new plant has already put into operation in 2019.

Yangnong's relocation to Sinochem Industrial Park in Lianyungang is a key step for Sinochem to build an innovative fine chemical flagship of China. The Lianyungang Park, a major strategic project of Sinochem, covers an area of over 900 acres. The construction kicked off in October 2017, aiming to build a world-class C3 production base.
